Currently I am the IT-manager at Royal Sens, located in the Netherlands. Royal Sens is specialized in creating productlabels for many and many years. We are a high-tech manufacturing company that produces millions of these labels each day, at two different locations in the Netherlands. With nearly two hundred employees and this large production volume per day, we are almost forced to automate a lot of our business processes. “I am convinced that you have to automate almost all your business processes that occur repeatedly”. To achieve this, I use the ‘Processo’ software. Processo provides our internal communication, the communication between Royal Sens and our suppliers, but most of all the communication between us and our costumer. It always involves an action that occurs repeatedly.
Processo offers me, in many ways, substantially wider possibilities than similar software. For example, the interaction between Processo and databases is much more convenient. Besides that, the logging in the database of Processo, instead of single log files, is a big improvement compared to similar software. On top of that, the versioning of workflows in Processo is a very user-friendly option. This enables me to restore a previous version, when a change has no added value. Finally, the ability to run two or more servers simultaneously and the ability to communicate between these servers with a supplied post office are two major advantages of Processo.
Creating a workflow in Processo is fairly simple. You don’t have to write down a single line of program code, so you do not need any programming skills or foreknowledge about this subject.
The use of Processo saves us at least one FTE a year. Besides that, Processo has significantly reduced the number of errors caused by employees who has to do a task manually day after day. This improves the quality, which is high on the business agenda of Royal Sens.
